Don’t worry, everything’s super fine! Just a brief hiatus in order to study for my Cambridge ESOL Examination. How was it? Perfect, I’m really happy about my performance! No, seriously, you have to watch Anonymous, a film that develops the theory that Shakespeare wasn’t the one who wrote the plays that we’ve been celebrating him for and portraying a rich tapestry of intrigues and political quarrels during Elizabethan times. Have you ever heard of Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford? Well, meet the man behind the literary myth, the most popular candidate among "Anti-Stratfordians”. The plot is engaging and so is Mr. Campbell Bower; who, by the way, has officially become the main star of all my fantasies. You can bet that we’ll have some more Dr. Thursday & Mr. Guy posts in his honor…

No, en serio, tienen que mirar Anonymous, un film que desarrolla la teoría que Shakespeare no fue quien escribió las obras por las que lo hemos estado celebrando y despliega un rico tapíz de intrigas y pleitos políticos durante los tiempos Isabelinos. Alguna vez escucharon hablar de Edward de Vere, 17º Conde de Oxford? Bueno, conozcan al hombre detrás del mito literario, el candidato más popular entre los “Anti-Stratfordianos”. La trama es atrapante y también lo es el Sr. Campbell Bower; quien, dicho sea de paso, se ha convertido oficialmente en el protagonista de todas mis fantasías. 1 {The Warmth of Wood…}

Looking at these pictures I can’t help feeling a warm sense of familiarity. They belong to a beautiful Canadian home featured in Covet Garden’s last issue. I love how wood makes nature seep into the house with such a cozy homelike mood!

Mirando estas imágenes no puedo evitar sentir una cálida sensación de familiaridad. Son de una preciosa casa Canadience publicada en la última edición de Covet Garden. Me encanta cómo la madera hace que la naturaleza se cuele dentro de la casa con un ánimo tan cómodo y hogareño!

 

I can even smell the fresh scent of pine or the heat of the logs burning in the chimney! So lovely!

Hasta puedo sentir el fresco aroma del pino o el calor de los leños ardiendo en la chimenea! Qué encantador!
